Live Everyday as Though it Were Your Last
66
Live everyday as though it were your last
Yesterday is gone, so don’t live in the past
Forgive all those who hurt you
They know not what they do
You’ll be a better person
If you learn to love them too.
Take time to smell the flowers
Take time to enjoy the view
There’s beauty all around you
The sky is always new
We have the power to change our thoughts
We choose to be happy or sad
It’s only our perception that makes things good or bad
Be thankful for the little things, a smile, a song, a touch
Don’t let a kind word go unsaid, a good deed doesn’t take much
Loving one another is the best thing we can do
Its medicine to feed the soul
We feel it through and through
Each moment is a gift to us
Use it wisely now, my friend
Don’t waste it, don’t abuse it
It will never come again

Hi Sweet friend
Sorry I have been MIA, what a great hub. Bless you dear friend. Love the new photo, too cute.
Love you!
Very wise words vocalcoach. Great hub! Voted UP.
Yes, my friend, we all live a borrowed time here on here, and we never know when we would finally cross the timeline. Well-chosen title. And I like the poem as well as the photos that go with it. Good share!
Beautiful words and pictures.
It is so nice to read hubs such as this vocalcoach when the world is so full of cruelty and sadness. This hub reminds us of all the love and compassion that is also around us.
Don't ever stop writing , the world needs people like you.I'm giving this one an up and a beautiful.
Take care and God Bless vocal coach.
And, "if you have the chance to sit it out or dance - dance". Very beautiful!
A smile at the right place and time can do so much. I wish I could smile better and more often. But the serendipitous act of love to strangers can turn a day around or make some difference to make another difference.
Yes Ma'am! You're right on track! God bless you Dear vocalcoach!
Vocalcoach, Beautiful Expression! Hmm I think I hear a song in here as well! It rings Joy bells in your soul...
Thank You for sharing, In HIS Love, Grace, Joy, Peace & Blessings!
Absolutely delightful
A truly lovely message. I enjoyed reading your fine poem. Well done!
Very eloquently described - sometimes we allow life to pass us by without noticing the detail, as you suggest.
Thank you for your most beautiful and moving words - voted up and awesome.
Great poem. I am trying to get focused, so maybe this will help.
.....well my dear dear friend - I can't believe that I missed this one - it's really defines you in so many different ways - and these are words, feelings and images to live by - please remember Audrey - this is a two way street - I look up to you too and you are my teacher in life and living - and you bring grace to my living and learning here at the Hub! Currently listening to Bob Marley and the Wailers with a glass of red wine and my two cats Little Miss Tiffy and Mister Gabriel by my side on a snowy evening by the northern shores of Lake Erie here in Ontario, Canada - please stay well and keep thinking good thoughts - and I will play the Goldberg Variations tomorrow morning as performed by Glen Gould!
Very well relayed. Adds a lot of flavor to life. Keep up vocalcoach
Yes, indeed. We have to live our lives as it were the last day. We have to be greetful of the day that comes for who knows it is the last. Very well written. Thanks for sharing and for your follow.
VocalCoach,
Such a beautiful heartfelt poem, and as I read between the lines, I feel your pain.
This is a inspiring poem for us all to stop and smell the coffee, to walk in our yards and enjoy the flowers, to be thankful for what we have, be it great or small.
To walk hand in hand with the ones who love us as we return the love so many time over.
Poems are our way of caressing our hurts, and helping them heal, as we share them with others--they might be helped also.
Thank you for being in HP--I will check to see if I am a follower--I believe I am--but I will be if not--I do not want to miss anything you have to say.

Lovely poem Audrey, really enjoyed it. My mam rang me one day and said "It's a lovely day, the sun is shining. It makes you glad to be alive." I was at work and started to cry. She has terrible rheumatoid arthritis and is often in a lot of pain but she certainly makes the most of every day and she appreciates the sunshine on her face.

Indeed, don't waste it and don't abuse it..Each moment is a precious gift.
Yes, we are reminded to live it one day at a time. To hold on to the hurt people cause is is a waste of precious moments. Thank you, vocalcoach.
